On 24^th December 2020, Uniti Group Ltd purchased the Telstra Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) networks in South Brisbane and other Velocity Estates around Australia. As part of the transaction, Opticomm, the wholesale subsidiary of Uniti Group Ltd, completed the upgrades to the network technology in April 2024.
